Puppies

Congratulations! You are now the lucky human companion to a puppy. We want to keep your little ball of fluff happy and healthy, and bringing him or her in for a tip-of-the-nose to a tip-of-the-tail examination is the first step.

If you adopted your puppy from a shelter or rescue, bring them in as soon as possible. If your new puppy comes from a breeder, he or she should be seen between the ages of 8 and 12 weeks.  During the appointment our doctors will discuss your pet's medical history and expected lifestyle with you, developing a protocol of care and vaccinations tailored specifically for your pet.

During your pets visit, we will do a complete physical examination, collect to a stool sample to check for parasites, and discuss the following:

· Obedience training for good manners
· Pet vaccines to prevent disease
· Treatments against internal and external parasites
· House training
· Veterinary surgery to spay or neuter
· Any necessary blood tests
· Proper pet nutrition
· Aggression and other undesirable behaviors
· Socializing your new pet with other family members
